I did not grow up in the 80's

As a fairly 90's child, I was the youngest of three brothers. I guess that's kind of why I'm the way I am. I have more 80's and 70's influence in my blood then anything from the 90's. I guess the kind of knowledge that assists that fact is that I've always like Street Fighter. Being so, it's why I find it hilarious and silly that with the announcement of Street Fighter IV, the biggest ranting and ravings from the community don't come from Ryu's ":O" facial expressions or the character proportions, but how large Chun Li's thighs are. I guess I can kind of see where new players of the series are coming from. In more recent fighting games like Guilty Gear or something made by SNK, where all of the female characters are incredibly thin and tall, Chun Li is one of the few female characters actually built like a professional martial artist who actually enters tournaments that involve beating the crap out of other people. Even in the earlier titles in the series (and things related) Chun Li has always had a larger build, though to a much less degree I'll admit. I suppose it's probably more a matter of how she's proportioned in Street Fighter IV that causes a bit of uproar. I guess the only person you can really blame at this point is the artist, for creating Chun Von Schwarzenegger Li.
